Radim Nencka holds the position of Senior Group Leader at IOCB Prague. Beyond his leadership role, he serves as a lecturer in Chemical Biology and Basic Principles of Drug Discovery at Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic
Radim currently specializes in medicinal chemistry, focusing primarily on antiviral therapy. Despite this, he actively explores drug design, particularly creating new agonists and antagonists for nuclear receptors. This effort of Radim’s group resulted in the discovery of new constitutive androstane receptor agonists that have great potential to become therapeutics for high cholesterol.
